Surface Texturing
Tech Met has developed (and patented) a unique surface texture used primarily on orthopedic implants. This surface promotes bone on-growth and osseointegration. This surface has been employed on both titanium and cobalt chrome components.
Other applications include enhanced bonding surfaces for metal to composite joining.
